We have seen how education has evolved from classrooms to home, from school teaching to e-learning, from teachers to some online tutor whom you don’t ever see, from books to online notes and presentations, from black board to projectors. Technology has helped in numerous ways to help the education system to develop in innovative ways that make learning entertaining. A few decades ago when parents thought that children are getting addicted to television the school took this opportunity to make television as a source of education. By making visual clips and small documentary movies it’s seen that students enjoy this type of learning than the boring class room lectures. A youngster getting addicted to games is a nightmare for any parent. Hence some institutions have started what we call is game based learning.

Why not make games in which students learn while playing games. Imagine having joysticks in your hands not books and pens. Coming to schools will be more interesting. Games of different categories are used to make the environment more educative. There are games made for all ages. Like to teach English alphabets for the beginner games are made to let them play with the alphabets and teach math to students who felt math was always boring. Many students try to co relate their subjects to what game they play. A Unique Study Abroad Opportunity

A few years ago studying abroad used to be about heading to a foreign country and learning at one of the schools or universities that they have on location. However, study abroad courses have now turned into ways for people to develop a hobby and learn about a foreign country. This is evidenced by the growing number of photography courses that offer the chance to take photos abroad.

Many colleges and universities have started to offer this elective based study abroad program. The way the program works is that the students will generally take a few weeks of classes that will teach them the basics in photography. They might learn how to develop techniques to take photographs, how to develop photos or how to use a camera. They learn everything that they need to know about photography and taking photos.

When the students have learned all the basics of photography, the final two weeks of the class are spent studying abroad. In many of these classes this final trip is their final exam as the students are required to use what they learn in a real life setting.

These programs have become extremely popular in local community colleges.
